Jesse L. Crouch was born 11 May 1822 in Tennessee and died 07 Aug 1888 in Franklin County, Illinois. He married Ruth Ward in Jefferson County, Illinois in 1847. Jesse's parents were William Crouch, b. ca 1792, in Tennessee, d. 1867 probably in Texas and Martha Martin.
Jesse's children included: William, James, Mary, Martha, Sarah, Mariah, O.D., Amanda, & Monroe.
