I am searching for information on my Crouch line. I descended from a Violet Crouch who married Daniel Williams sometime around 1787 near Fort Boonesborough, Kentucky. Some genealogies list her as Rebecca Violet Crouch, but I have never found her name on any document other than Violet. Also some genealogies list her as the daughter of Johnathon Crouch Jr. and Dorothy Laws. In 1795, Daniel and Violet Crouch Williams sold their land they got from Daniel's father's premption to Ambrose Coffee. On the Fayette County 1787 tithable list is shown Ambrose Coffee (Francis Crouch)*parenthesis means additional white tithables. So I guess this means that Francis Crouch was either living with Ambrose Coffee and his wife, or on the property of Ambrose Coffee, unsure which. Do you have any information on these people?
