I am looking for information on Julia Ann Crouch born 1877 in Texas. She died 1973 in Fresno, California. Married James Lawrence Stacy.
They had the following children: Viola Vivian, Bonnie Estelle, Charles Ocie, Ludie Mindo, Ida Mae, James Cecil, Vernie Elzora, Cleo Wilson, all born in Texas and Indian Territory I believe.
The 1910 census places the family in Jack County, Texas. The 1920 census has them in Davis, Murray County, Oklahoma. The 1930 census has them living in Garfield, Dona Ana County, New Mexico. They show her mother's place of birth as "United States" and her father's as either Texas.
Handwritten notes from a relative state that she was raised in the Dallas area. Her father was William Frederick Crouch. Her mother was Mary, last name possibly Pruitt. The mother died when she was small, possibly still a baby. The father remarried and the step-mother was also named Mary. She may have been the Pruitt mentioned. An uncle was named Willie Pruitt.
