The information that I have on the Crouch family is second hand from a researcher, Marcia Crouch Hulsey. You may be able to search for her name on this genforum. She gave me the info that James A Crouch had a brother, William Pleasant, who could be the William next to him on the 1850 census. I have a Mary Crouch in my tree that also came to Tippah County from NC. I think she relates to this family but have not been able to prove anything. My Mary was married to Benjamin Cheairs. She died in Tippah County in 1856.
