Solomon Crouch,age 24 married Jane Tripp, age 19 on Oct. 21, 1852 by J.L. Linton, JP. Solomon had a brother named William, born in 1824 who helped operate the first mill in Pope County, AR and continued to operate the maill after the death of his father, John Crouch. From one source I found that Solomon had 5 brothers and 7 sisters. In the 1860 Pope County Census, it lists Jane and Solomon as having 3 sons: John S. 6, Albert M. 3, and Joseph 1. I have more information on the descendants of Solomon and Jane Crouch as I am his great,great-grandaughter.
