Saw your Crotzer/Crotser entries on Genforum.I believe that you responded to a query that I left.Sorry it took so long to get back to you.My family went from Rowan Co., N.C. to Fayette County, IL about 1830. Would be interested to know whose material you spoke of that you found on Ancestry.com.It may have been something that I submitted a long time ago.If it is, I have a change to make for you.I and several other researchers are not really certain who David Crotzer's father was.So if that is my material you saw at Ancestry.com- ignore
John George as his dad.I have no proof.I guess we all wish it was either John George or Phillip, but I don't think anyone has found any real proof yet. Phillip was another early N. Carolina Crotzer.Would love to know whose material you saw at that site.Maybe there's another researcher out there that knows something we don't know.
The information on my Fayette County part of the family can be seen at our homepage.I have all the Crotser stuff I can find up on the page- even if I don't have the family connected to mine yet.
http://www.advancenet.net/~conure/geneindex.htmhttp://www.advancenet.net/~conure/geneindex.htmwill take you to the genealogy section. Have fun, and please send any corrections or
additions along.
I have a section on the page where I list other Crotser/Crotzer researchers and their e-mail address. If you want me to put you on the list with a short description of your main line, I would be glad to do that.I would love to add anything to the site that you care to share.I will, of course give you full credit.
Would love to learn more about your part of the family if you care. I can't seem to get into my Family Tree Maker right now, and
my computer nerd is at work, so I really don't know if I have anything on your direct family or not.Mowrey does ring a bell, though.Well, better go for now.Hope my page helps a little. There is a descendant
chart which should have about everything that I know. The info has come from several researchers and I have not rechecked everything that they sent, so use with caution. The stuff on my direct line in Fayette Co., I'm fairly confident about.
Talk to you later, and am excited to learn about your family.
