Ed, the latest research I'm aware of suggests that Isaac and Elizabeth CROSWEIGHT were the parents of William CROSTHWAIT (d. 1743 in Colonial VA).
This information was published in vol. 6 "Crosthwaite Chronicle" by Frank S. and Carol D. Crosswhite. Their research indicates that William CROSTHWAIT was christened in Crowland, Lincoln Co., England (as I recall, on July 4) in 1686.
