Wm Henry was born 3 Feb 1822, Clark Co, KY moved with parents to Boone Co, Mo 1829, married 10 Mar 1842 Columbia Boone Co, Mo to Mary Margaret Turner, b. 1 Mar 1821, Lex. KY (9 mi se of town) dau of William Turner, b. NC and Eliz Crooks, b. SC They were married by Elder.Peter Kemper, moved to Platte Co, Mo 1857 operated saw mill. Wm Henry d. of tbc, buried in the Ellis Cem, Waldron twp, Platte Co Mo. date of death 22 Feb 1875Wm & Marg. bought land near Weston, Platte Co,Mo in 1857 It was situated on the east side of the Platte River on the KS-MO line, covered with virgin timber, ideal time for a saw mill, very damp place to live-after harvesting the trees, the river in flood stage cut a path through a part of their land leaving the home situated on an island-they lost 3 children here-one at birth, no sex given, 1862;small boy called Dobby at 2 yrs old (census1850-family bible says he died of croup & Diphtheria);a 17 y/o girl named Susan of "Lung-Fever" on 10 April 1865 (according to death cert. & family bible)Wm was 45 y/o when he died at this location. A few years later, the river took the home.Margaret, her younger children, two brothers and their families and some other relatives -five wagons moved to Welch, OKla. Indian Terr.Marg. died 13 Mar 1888 at home of her dau. Mary Melsina (Pinky) Crosswhite Moore in Chetopa, KS and is buried there.I have no idea who Martha Boon Crosswhite is -so far, I've not run into her and I can't recall ever having heard that name-you might post a message with the Boone's-also, there seem to be a number of Franklin's (some with other names) popping up but I don't know much about them-the only two I have written up so far aren't the one you want-here are the issue of WH &MM:Thomas Jacob b. 28 Dec 1842 d. 26 Apr 1877,Montana, bur. Cobb, OK, had son James;Silas, b. 1847, d. 4 May 1931, Topeka, Ks, M. Sarah Bowers; Susan b. 1848, d. 10 Apr 1865; Daniel b. 1849, d. 1912, Ft. Cobb, OK, m. ? (wife died in Ks or MO) had dau named Goldie who married a Turner (prob. a cousin)went to Neb to live; Dobbie, b. 1851, d. 1859; John, b. 2 Apr 1854, d. 6 Jan 1930,Hennessey, OK m. 19 Nov 1873 Topeka, KS Martha Jane Barker (sister of Sarah)they had 13 kids; Francis Marion b. 1857, d. Portland, Or, m. Rachael Whitacre; David Crosswhite, B. 1859 Platte Co, Mo, died, ST. Joseph, MO, m. 18 Nov 1896 Rosetta Taylor, dau of Gertrude, KCMO had son Charlie; infant 1862; Mary Melsena b. 7 Dec 1865, platte co, d. 30 Mar 1941 Chetopa, KS. m. 18 Nov 1885, Miami, OK, Austin Moore; Clinton Samuel, b. 22 May 1867, Platte co, d. 30 Mar 1927, Portland, Or, m. Emma Barker (sis of those above)had one dau: Bessie Lee; m. 2, Iva Nora Griffieth, had one dau, Cora Mae in Portland, Or.Good Luck on your "Bear "hunt.
