Regarding his son, Rev. George Brickdale Crossman: The Gentleman's Magazine v. 41 (1854), "At Villa Colombaja, near Florence, the Rev. George Brickdale Crossman, late of St. John's, Withycombe, Somerset. he was of Magdalen college, Oxford, created M.A. in 1814.
