"Ancesters and more information about Anne (Mrs. Crossman) b abt 1599 England d 5 Feb 1659/60 Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts. she was the second (2) wife of John Eaton b abt 1594 in Wilts, England and d 29 Oct 1668 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts. John and Anne married 26 Dec 1621. John Eatons was the son of a Richard Eaton b abt 11565 in Ludlow, England and d 7 Dec 1599/1600 in Ludlow, England. Mother of John was Elizabeth Sheapheard b abt 1569 in Ludlow, England and d 11 Nov 1636 in New Haven, Connecticut. John and Anne had six (6) children all born in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts. They were Thomas, John, Ann, Elizabeth, Ruth and Esther all born between 1618 adn 1634."

The provenance of that "info" would be very interesting to
see.
Particularly since
a)It reports that John and Anne m. 26 Dec 1621 yet
b)they started having children in 1618 3 years earlier
c) At least some of the children were born in a town that
did not yet exist.
"The town of Salisbury was established Oct. 7, 1640,
from common land called Colechester."
Did _anything_ exist in the Colonies in 1618 outside of
Virginia and -perhaps the Indies??
