Looking for information on Lemuel Crosman who moved from Columbia Co., NY to Elbridge, Onondaga Co., NY about 1803. Who were his parents? Three 1920s sources listed Lemuel's nine siblings and said father died in Granville, MA in 1801 but none of them knew the name of his father. Lemuel's brother Phineas and sister Eunice (m. Ebeneezer Healy) settled nearby in Semmett, Cayuga Co., NY. Lemuel's son Asa (one of 14 siblings) settled in Cato, Cayuga Co. I have quite a bit of info to share on this family but haven't been able to determine the father of Lemuel. They may have come from MA or VT or both.
