Hi Pat, I found on the 1891 Census, the family of William Henry CROSSLEY, and Martha CROSSLEY, including the children, Eva, and William E. CROSSLEY, and living at the same address were Ernest ARMITAGE, age 23, and Herbert ARMITAGE, age 27. These 2 were listed as brothers in law to William Henry CROSSLEY. end. I also found a marriage in Bradford, Yorkshire between Martha ARMITAGE and William Henry CROSSLEY, June 1876. end. On the 1871 British Census - Civil Parish: Wilsden St Matthew, Bradford, Yorkshire. Head: Samuel ARMITAGE - age 45 - b.1826, Allerton, Bradford, Yorkshire. Wife: Hannah ARMITAGE - age 46 - b.1825, Allerton, Bradford, Yorkshire. Dau: Martha ARMITAGE - age 21 - b.1850, Allerton, Bradford, Yorkshire. Dau: Sarah Jane ARMITAGE - age 19 - b.1852, Allerton etc. Son: Thomas Wood ARMITAGE - age 12 - b.1859, Allerton.... Son: Edward ARMITAGE - age 9 - b.1862, Allerton Son: Herbert ARMITAGE - age 9 - b.1862, Allerton Son: Ernest ARMITAGE - age 3 - b.1868, Allerton end. On the 1891 Census for Manningham, St Phillips, Yorkshire. Head: Thomas W. ARMITAGE - age 30 - b.abt.1861, Bradford, Yorkshire. Wife: Mary H. ARMITAGE - age 31 - b.abt.1860, Bradford, Yorkshire. Son: Samuel B. ARMITAGE - age 2 - b.1889, Bradford, Yorkshire. end. There is also a marriage for Thomas Wood ARMITAGE to Mary Hannah BENTLEY, Dec. 1881, Bradford, Yorkshire.
