Hi Pat,
I found on the 1891 Census, the family of William Henry CROSSLEY, and Martha CROSSLEY, including the children, Eva, and William E. CROSSLEY, and living at the same address were Ernest ARMITAGE, age 23, and Herbert ARMITAGE, age 27.
These 2 were listed as brothers in law to William Henry CROSSLEY.

I also found a marriage in Bradford, Yorkshire between Martha ARMITAGE and William Henry CROSSLEY, June 1876.
