Sherrie, Providing genealogy is good, and there's nothing wrong in being right, or Sharon being your last word. According to Thomas Jefferson Cross's daughter Emma, in her Bible-Thomas was born Dec.22,1822. Margaret Jane, daughter of John Robert Cross Sr. , told her grandaughter Mildred, that Jesse and Celia, were the names used as parents for John Robert Cross Sr., and that he had a brother named Alsberry. She also said,"John Robert Cross Sr. was older, than his brother Thomas Jefferson Cross." Mildred documented this information in writing. Rachel, daughter of Jesse and Celia was born in 1820. With Alsberry born in 1823. 1821 is open for John Robert Cross Sr. There is more evidence linking these people together. Thomas Jefferson Cross is my Great Grandfather.
