GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Former Pendleton resident Bobbie Jean (Bunch) Cross, 72, Grand Rapids, died Aug. 17, 2004, at her daughter's residence.
She was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Albany, Ky. She was the former owner/operator of Bobbie's Beauty Shop, Pendleton.
She was a former member of Solar Order of Eastern Star, member of Peninsular Order of Eastern Star and former member of Broadway Order of Eastern Star, Madison County Shrine Club, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Grand Rapids, Mich. She was a former member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Fortville.
Survivors include children, Dan Cross of Temecula, Calif., Gary (Theresa) Cross of Anderson and Tonya (Dick) Dickerson of Grand Rapids, Mich.; sisters, Charlene (Dennis) Vickery, Betty (Jerry) Rhodus and Jeaneta Neil; sister-in-law, Chrystell Witham; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Cross; son, Gregory Cross; granddaughter, Aliesha; parents, Edith and Jesse Bunch; and a brother, Ralph Bunch.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Bright Chapel, Pendleton. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. An OES memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Shrine Club.
