Thanks very much! Renfrew County covers a very large area of northeastern Ontario, and the village of Renfrew is about an hour from Ottawa.
As for the other Cropley I mentioned marrying another Sheedy sister, this may have been incorrect, and the surname may have been Corby.
I have just started researching this part of the family, so have very little information so far.
