What area of Ky? and which Hezekiah? We have a Hezekiah Crook-birth listed as 1785?, first showing up on the 1810 census of Clay Co.KY- with none in household. Later census show him married to Mary Burns, marriage date as 11-17-1816, her disappearing after the 1850 census. Their son Wiley J. Crook is our descendent, having married Lucy Ann Smith. Hezekiah also had a son William, that Hezekiah(age 65) was living with in the 1860 Clay Co. KY census. Wiley Crooks' son, James W. Crook married Sarah McFadden, Their son George W. Crook married Rena Sturgill. I have been told that there were 2 Hezekiah Crooks in this area, but I do not know. Also, try a web site for Mary Burns at:

Edna-J-Burns/GENE0001-0009.html
I would be interseted in sorting out who Hezekiah Crooks' parents were, as we have not yet found them. Any help would be appreciated
