Sarah Jane Crooks m. Joseph Carter in 1855, and from then on lived on Muscongus (Louds) Island, near Bristol, Maine. She was b. 1833 in Liscomb Nova Scotia; parents Jacob Crook(s) and Nancy Fleet, both of Nova Scotia. Any info on either family would be terrific. thanks.
