I'm the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Adkins sister Mrs. Winnie Crook Hay of Johns Island SC. My granddmother moved to Johns Island about 1920. She died in 1991. I'm very insterested in finding more information on William Crook and his children. One child's, William Crook, second marriage was to Jenny Jones. From this marriage came Ruth and Winnie as well as 11 other live births (2 sets of twins). One daughter died at 9 or 11 years old. Ruth and a brother were the sets of twins whose twin died after only a few days old. I would greatly appreciate any information you can give me. I'd like to trace the family back to England and before. Thank you so much!.
