Listed in my grandmother's family bible(Wickham)is an entry of
death of Cassandra Nicholson in 1866 "in the 37th year of her
life"-birth year 1829?
There is a listing of the marriage of Somervell Nicholson and
Cassandra Crook on 1/29/1850 in "Marriage Licenses, Prince
Georges Co., MD 1777-1886" by Helen Brown.
I have not been able to establish a relationship but believe
Somervell may have been the brother of my ggrandfather Thomas
Jefferson Nicholson who was married to Sofia Sanford. Their
children were: Almisale(?), Joseph John(my grandfather),Herbert,
Elnora, and Sallie.
I have some info. for the 1st & 2nd generations and all for
3rd to 6th, and will share.
