Found obit/funeral notice in the Augusta Chronicle's archives, fixes Sadie's date of death at 10/30/1962. "Died Knoxville, Tennessee, October 30th, 1962, Mrs. Sadie Crook Johnson, 83, wife of the late Mr. John J. Johnson." She had lived for two years in Knoxville with her daughter Louise (Johnson) Sanders prior to her death. She is buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Augusta, Georgia.
Still need date of birth, and parents, to continue.
