I have just received info on my G.G. Grandfather - Frederick Crook born Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England to a John & Elizabeth Crook. Frederick and his wife Hester Pierce left England approx. 1868-1869 and came to the U.S. They show up in the Amesbury, MA 1870 Census there and by 1880 are in Providence, RI as Woolen Mill Workers. My G. Grandfather Charles was born in England in 1868 and his brother Frederick also born England 1866. Would anybody have any further info on the England Connection? I have quite a bit of info here in the U.S. but would like to est an England connection. If any info I would be glad to hear from you.
