Tony,
I have just found possible links to Crook in Bolton. I found Albert Crook. b. 1871 Bolton and Rachel b. 1862 Bolton. I am hoping they are children of H.P. Crook b.~1826 Eng. and wife Mary b. ~ 1836 Eng. They had children Rachel b. ~ 1863, Amy b. ~ 1866 and Albert b.~ 1870. THey then emigrated to US between 1870 and 1874 where son Freddie was b.~1874 and son Sidney b.~ 1879 in Elmira NY. I do not know what H.P stands for but I have assumed Henry. This crew is all somehow related to my great x 2 grandmother Emma Crook b. ~ 6/1851 in Wales (?). If any of these names sound familiar ,I would love to hear from you. I have just sent to Eng. for a copy of Alberts birth certificate, which may take a while. Thanks - Diane in PA
