I have just learned that my Cronk family moved from Huron County, Ontario to Alpena county, Michigan about 1885. Thomas was born in Ontario about 1825. His wife, Ann Curran Cronk, was born in Ireland about 1830. They lived in Ashfield township, Huron Co., Ontario and had 11 children. Ann died in Alpena Co. in 1912 and was survived by her husband and 6 children, William, John, Jerry, Cornelius, Mrs. Daniel Turner and Mrs. Peter Derush. Thomas died in 1923 and his obituary said he was the oldest resident of Alpena at that time. Anyone connected to this family?
