Capt David Cronk is engraved on an old whistle my dad has. The name at the top is Capt David Cronk, under that is Robert Crozier, under that is William Crozier.

my dad = William S. Crozier (East Hampton, LI, NY)
his dad = Robert Crozier
his dad = William F. Crozier (Canada)
his dad = Robert G. Crozier m. Mary Jane Patten
Mary Jane's mom = Mary Cronk
Mary Cronk' dad = David Cronk 1770/1771-1855

David Cronk m. Ann 1767-1835, children: David W, Susannah, Eleanor 1798-1820, Mary 1805-1831

David Cronk's siblings: Katherine, John, Jacob, Henry, Eleanor

Most of this info fits neatly in place on my tree (explains the Cronk/Crozier connection) except for a date of 1848 next to Capt David Cronk's name on my dad's whistle. I have no idea what that corresponds to, yet.
