CRONIN in LIMERICK and COUNTY CORK
Posted by: Mary Keckhut Date: January 13, 1999 at 05:16:41

Our ancestor, BRIDGET CRONIN, was born in Limerick or County Cork on 2 Feb 1825. She was the daughter of EDWARD CRONIN and MARY FLANIGAN. Several of her siblings were MICHAEL CRONIN, MARY CRONIN, JOHN CRONIN. The Cronins show up in the 1861 Ontario, Canada census. BRIDGET CRONIN married JOHN SCHICKLER/SHUTTLER in Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1853, so we assume her family had emigrated by 1853. We would like to know more about these CRONINS from Limerick or County Cork. Thank you.
