George Crone's possible sister, Mary Ann

I have been trying for years to find more about the family of my great-great-grandmother, Mary Ann Crone. I think she may be the sister of your George. She was born in S.C. on April 16, 1818, and married a David Guthery on Oct. 24, 1832. They lived in Cherokee Co., AL in 1840, very near two George W. Crone's. Her first son was named George Washington Guthery. The census says that her parents were both born in VA. I have long believed that they came from the Crone's in York Co., PA, but I have no proof. Mary Ann (Crone) Guthery lived the rest of her life in AL, and was buried in Brushy Creek cemetery, Cullman Co., AL, on April 13, 1892. Her daughter lived with my dad's family in the 1920's and she said that her parents spoke a mixture of English and what she thought was German.
