Gail,
Jacob Crone was married to Elizabeth Watts 1st. She died in the late 1840's. My gg grandmother Martha Jane was listed in the household in the 1860 census. Martha was born in 1850. My thought is that Martha came with Elizabeth Tilley in 1853. My grandmother always told me her grandmother was a Tilley. She remembers visits from Mart Tilley. They called him Uncle Mart. It is believed that Mart's father was Lazarus Tilley. I can't put my hands on my paper work at the moment, but I remember Elizabeth Tilley married to someone before Jacob. I am not sure if it is the same one or not. We thought that maybe Mart was Elizabeth's father. So I am at a loss of who was my gg grandmother's parents. If you can shed some light on this it would be very helpful.
