Hi Laura,

Thanks for your reply. This is indeed the same family! Peter Jr., the 7-yr-old you found in the 1880 census, is the one who married Clara Knapp. I did not know his mother's name was Mary. The Margaret you mentioned was his aunt. I am trying to learn more about the Knapps, i.e., where they immigrated from. The only reference I have is Baden or Alsace-Lorraine. I'd appreciate your suggestions.
