I found a George Crone involved in the settlement of the estate of Benjamin Love on 12 April 1861 in Van Buren County, AR. The Loves also lived in Cadron Township. W. B. Love, son of Benjamin, and Evan Harris presented a petition asking to have their bond as administrator of the estate reinstated and "asked the court to have a citation run against John J. Harton, James H. Shiply, George Crone and John Chandler..." John J. Harton was married to W. B. Love's sister and I thought perhaps George Crone was married to another sister Sarah. An A J Crone, b. AL, was found in the household of W. B. Love in the Census of 1860 along with W. B.'s mother and sister Sarah. The parent Loves were married in Southampton Co., VA in 1814, moved to Halifax District, NC, then to Morgan Co., AL, then Davidson Co., TN, then Phillips Co., AR, before finally settling in Van Buren Co., AR. Could your Crones have been in Morgan County also? Both W. B. and his sister Sarah were born there in 1832 and 1837 respectively.
