Would anyone like to share information on John Cron d. after 1756, York Twp., York Co., PA. He immigrated on the ship, Thistle, on 19 September, 1738, with a number of other York County families, including Shaeffers, Smeltzers, Gohns, Dietzs, and Brachers. I've found information on at least four children: John (d. 1785 Windsor Twp., York Co., PA, m. 1755 Anna Maria Paules), Simon (m. 1757 Maria Catharine Gohn, Anna Catherina (m. 19 October, 1756, Philip Schmeltzer [this is my line]), and a unnamed daughter who left a granddaughter, Marrilis.
