I am searching for information on Matthew Crompton. He was born in Oldham, England in 1816 and came to America around 1830. He married Temperance. They lived in New York before moving to Mehoopany, Pa. Their children were Jefferson, Thomas, James, and Hannah.
I am interested in finding out the names of his parents and siblings and where in New York he lived prior to moving to Pa. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
