Hi Art,
I was hoping your posting was some good news.I still have next to nothing, though I did get a copy of Elizabeth (Gambil) Shaffer/Anderson's will - 1847 in Williamson Co., TN.In that she names 2 of her grandkids, which doesn't mean there might have been others but she only named 2:Tennessee Cromer (female) & Richard S. Cromer, whom I suspect was named Richard Shaffer Cromer (for his Richard Shaffer grandfather.(Sally/Sarah Shaffer married Henry Cromer in Tennessee.Henry Cromer is the only Cromer that I know of in early Tennessee.I'm not in touch with any other descendants yet - but I'm ever hopeful - and I know next to nothing about him.Somewhere, someone has to know something! If you learn anything, I'd appreciate hearing.
Thanks.Joan Rose-gggggranddaughter of Henry Cromer
