Sorry that I can't help much with this. Ann Deans was b.1774 in Banchory-Devenick to Robert Deans and Emilia Findlay. I don't know which Alexander Cromar this is - there is one b.1776 in Peterculter (near B-D) to a Alexander Cromar (no mother's name). Good luck. Let me know if you find out more about AC.
