Bob,

I also come from the Croissant line. My grandmother Adeline Barbara Croissant Elliott was a cousin to Martin. But my Croissant's stayed in France when yours went to Germany. I do have the Croissant line back to 1642. The other names in that line are Hory, Grandjean, Bretegnier, Faivre, Jacques, Delorraine, Nardin. What I haven't been able to do is link my last Daniel Croissant to Abraham Croissant that went to Germany arount 1630. I figure to Daniel's father (that I can't find) is a brother to Abraham. Let me know it you have been able to get back that far.
