John, Wow! Thank you so much!! That is so much more than I ever expected! I am so excited! Do you mind if you ask what your resources are? (I always note my resources when I put information into my genealogy program.) Since you knew that Ann Crofts sister Sophia was the witness to her marriage, I assume that you have some record or notation of her marriage. Do you by chance have a copy of the marriage record? Are my Crofts related to your Crofts? Also, I am interested in your thoughts on the CROFT vs. CROFTS surnames. I have the surname CROFT used as a middle name numerous times in the family line. However, when I found the marriage of Joseph Thompson and Ann CROFTS in the Mormon LDS Records, it is listed as CROFTS. Then when I go back to the Mormon records online, Ann and family in Bedworth are listed as CROFT. Any thoughts on the change in name spelling? Have you found this in your family as well? Can you tell me if in the actual marriage record of Ann to Joseph Thompson, was the name spelled CROFTS or CROFT? The information from the LDS was extracted and sent in by a patron and I thought perhaps there was a misspelling... I cannot thank you enough for the information. It has taken me back two more generations that I didn't have! Happy New Years! Nancy Notify Administrator about this message?
