DAVY CROCKETT'S WIFE - POLLY FINLEYMary (Polly) Finley 1788-1814 married David Crockett 12 August 1806.He was the son of John and Rebecca (Hawkins) Crockett - famous pioneer, hunter and statesman.He was born 1786 and died 1836.Polly was born in Eastern Tenn and resided at Bean's Creek, Franklin Co., Tenn.She is buried in Brown's Cemetery, one mile south of homestead: rock cairn marker.
Their children were: John Wesley 1807 - 1854: William Henry b. 1809 married Sally Bryant and Polly Finley Crockett born 1810 married Wiley Flower and Poly died at Kenton, Tenn.
