Robert McClanahan Crockett [ca 1779--20 Feb 1826] m: Elizabeth (White) Wells, widow of Wylie Wells [d: 1801]. Elizabeth was a daughter of Hugh and Elizabeth White of Chester Co, SC. On 1810 census, 16-25 [1784-1794]. On 1820 census, he and wife are 26-44 [1775-1794].
5th Robert Hamilton [b: 1 or 7 April 1811] m: Sarah A Cunningham. Waxhaw Presbyterian Church cemetery has 1 April 1811--11 Aug 1877
Children: Mary E [b: ca 1840]; Josephine (“Phenie”) [b: ca 1842]; Sally [b: ca 1843]; Margaret [b: ca 1847] m: William VanLandingham; Robert C [b: ca 1851]; Alice [b: ca 1855] m: Walker McMurray.
5th Hannah Elizabeth [ca 1810, SC-—1875, TX] married Thomas Allen Polk; they moved from TN to TX. She was buried at Eutaw, Limestone Co, TX.
5th Mary Jane [10 April 1812--30 Dec 1876, TX]
M: 1st Lewis A McKenzie--2 children; m2: on 23 Jan 1839, Obion Co, TN, William Henry Hord. She died Dallas, TX.
5th John McClanahan [16 Dec 1816, SC--4 Aug 1887, TX]
M: 14 Jan 1837, Obion Co, TN m: Catherine W Polk. Both died at Dallas, TX. He was at one time Lt Gov of TX. No children.
5th Laura N [b: 1825, SC] m: in 1843 George W Brown in Obion Co, TN
