I think any connection would be remote and would have to be in the mid 1700s in Virginia.
Rev. Robert Reed Crockett, Jr. of Limestone Co. Texas was born in Cooper County Missouri 02 Sep 1860 and died 4 Feb 1936 at Groesbeck Texas. He is a descendant of Joseph Louis Crockett and Jane De Vigne Crockett.

Robert Reed Crockett, Jr. married Belsie (Belle) Phillips in 1882 in Cooper County Missouri. He was ordained in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, preaching in Missouri until coming to Texas in 1889. He preached in Texas and Oklahoma and became a USA Presbyterian minister when the two denominations merged in 1906.
He and Belle were the parents of 10 children:William Walter b. 1883 in Mo; Stella, b. 1884, MO; Lula Narcissa b. 1886, MO; Robert Phillips b. 1889, MO; Bell Missouri 1891, TX; Bettie R. b. 1893, TX; Kathleen b. 1896, TX; Eugene b. 1898, TX; David b. abt. 1902, TX; and Benjamin Higdon b. abt 1905, OK.
