I can tell you it almost for sure that Davy Crockett was related to his friend Henry Myers the Wagon Maker from Baltimore.You can read about this connection in the book The Life of Davy Crockett by Bud Levy.
I am not sure about this Albert Cook Myers thing but I do know the Myers and Cooke families of CSA Col John Esten Cooke are related.
Col John Esten Cooke wrote the book Leather and Silk, The Life of Hunter John Myers.John Esten Cooke is buried about 25 ft from Gov Edmund Jenning Randolph at the Bishop Meade Church in Millwood VA.
