David B. Crockett b:7/24/1863 in KY, TN, VA
Does anyone have this David B. Crockett in their lines??? His death certificate shows his father's name was William Crockett.David B. Crockett died in Yuma, AZ on 1/31/1937 where he had gone for health purposes (for the climate)...He was a longtime resident of Casper, WY and was a hard rock miner there for many years. His body was shipped from Yuma, AZ back to Casper Mountain, WY for burial. He married a Mexican woman by the name of Mary Trujillo on Oct 1, 1908 in Rawlins, WY and had 3 children:
Davy V. in 1908
Lela C. in 1910
Marshall W. in 1913
I have excerpts from a diary. A woman who lived on Casper Mountain wrote about him: "He was the Great Grand Nephew of the defender of the Alamo".She wrote this as she was thinking back on the summer of 1920.
I am told his wife, Mary never lived up on Casper Mountain with him and the kids did not live there permanently with him but visted mostly in the summer months.I just can't find him in any census other than 1910 and 1920.....I haven't found his wife Mary in any other census except 1910 and 1920 either...
I am mainly looking for him prior to 1910 in Kentucky, Virginia, Tenn or wherever....He is soooo elusive....
I am really stumped and need some help.Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to give me in this matter. If you have any information you can email me at:

Happy hunting everyone.
