I live in TX and will still see if I can find Annanias or his son Lewis

any idea who his or his son's wife was named

Thanks for his dads name that will most definelty help me find him
If he has a TX death cert I will find it

DNa results has showed us related to Col Anthony Crockett of KY and Samuel Crockett who married Esther Thompson
and Andrew Crockett who married Sarah Elliot
how is another question in itself

my gggrandfather was named Leonard Louis Crockett
his father was CW Soldier Andrew David and his father Eli Crockett who married Martha Durden aka Patsy Durdino

Beyond Eli we know nothing
only that he was b in TN and married Martha in La in St Tammany Parish LA in 1813
