PRONI T1944 - Crockett Ancestry
In the book by Valda Crockett, she states:
"The line of Davey Crockett, hero of the Alamo, congress man and back-woodsman. David Crockett ancestral line 1674-1800 from Belfast records office reference no. T1944 1-3."
I checked with PRONI (The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland).Their description of the above document is:
"T/1944/1-30: c.200 documents 1710-1950.Title deeds of Cumine Estate, Killough, Co. Down.1710-1905; Testamentary papers of Parkinson-Cumine family re lands of Crangicam, Co. Down. 1850-1919; Rent receipts and land commission papers of Cumine family.Four police record books Newtownards,
Downpatrick:Bessbrook and Strabane areas, 1923-1950; Volume containing rent accounts etc. of Lascelles family, Killough, 1781-1828; (Wm) Flemings Log book c.1850."
Would anyone know what is in these documents that relates to the ancestry of the Crocketts?
Thanks,
Donna
