John Warzel, father born 1896. Per the 1930 Cleveland, Ohio census he lists his birthplace of Osijek. Lists his ethnicity at Czech.
1917 U.S. Army enlistment papers have birthplace as Austria.
Very confused here.
He came to U.S. at age 16 in 1912. Trying to find the parish he is from and the ship he arrived on.
Also, I understand there is no "W" in the alphabet.
