Now this is interesting. Yes, this is my Grandmothers family. Matt, Mary, Anthony Veronica, Frank and Agnes. It is odd the way the name changed from Snyderich to Schneider in one move, and all the childrens names changed too. I never heard stories about the Schneider children, either, but it is all there in print, he brought his children into the family and they moved to Owosso.
By the 1930 census you found, my Grandma and Grandpa would have been married 6 years and were living in Detroit.
The 2nd Frank was my Uncle Frank, living in Holland. The whole Balkovitz family stayed in the lower Michigan area the rest of their lives.
