Yes, the story is that Great Grandma and Grandpa (Geza)lived only a few miles away from each other in the old country, but did not know of each other. Grandma (Mary) and Grandpa (Geza) met in Michigan, which is where they married and lived their lives. We were told that Anthony Balkovitz died in the flu epidemic in PA. I have not found census records, do not know where to look. This information is wonderful! Any other way to find when Anthony came to the states?

I was also wondering, how much did it cost to get to America then? It must have been quite a bit I would think.
