John Crittenden, b. ca 1802 VT or CT or NY

Census indexers differ on John Crittenden's birth. I see either VT or CT, not NY.
John was born about 1802.
On the 1850 census, Concord, Jackson Co., MI, he was with his wife (name somewhatunreadable) and children. Same for 1860. I didn't find him in 1870.
Frank C. Crittenden, born Oct. 1849 in MI, is my focus. He married Sarah J.. born Nov. 1852 in MI.
This is what I've gleaned.
Descendants of Frank C. Crittenden

1        Frank C. Crittenden       b: October 1849 in Concord, Jackson Co., MI
..              +Sarah J.       b: November 1852 in MI
........       2        John Crittenden       b: Abt. 1875
........       2        Ruth Crittenden       b: June 1876 in IL
........       2        Phillip Lee Crittenden       b: June 23, 1879 in Cook Co., IL
............              +Harriet G. Duncan       b: Abt. 1884 in PA
........       2        Myrl D. Crittenden       b: November 1884 in IL

The last name, Myrl, was also somewhat unreadable and I won't hesitate to change it if someone will tell me the correct name on the 1900 MI census.

Phillip Lee Crittenden, with his wife, Harriet G. Duncan, are on my Johannes Conrad Mohr/John C. Moore tree. Harriet's mother was a Moore. Phillip and Harriet married in Allegheny Co., PA but were found in WI in 1930. They obviously returned for Phillip was on the Old Man's WWII draft in Allegheny Co., PA in 1942

I have two Frank Crittendens on my family tree, but one was southern (NC/SC) and one was northern. Has anyone linked the north and south Crittenden, yet?

Hampton, VA
