Hiram bruce Crittenden was born 3 Sept 1858 in McNair's Cove, Nova Scotia, son of Samuel F. Crittenden and Emmeline D. Horton. His first wife was Mary Levonia Carter, but in 1881 he married Mary Ellen Ryan, born about 1863 in Port Mulgrave, Nova Scotia, dau of Michael Ryan and Mary. Hiram died 1948, Mary died about 1882.

They had a son, William, b. 1881. Did William ever marry?

Did Hiram and Mary Ellen have any other children?
