Seeking info on my ggrandfather Alonzo Crittenden Gray. Death certificate lists his pob as MO, on April 10, 1854 and his father as C. Gray. (His headstone says 1857) A living cousin thinks he was born in N. Georgia. Alonzo told my father stories of being in Kentucky. Family stories say he ran away from home and arrived in Texas when he was about 15 or 16. He married Margaret E. Watkins of Fannin County, Tx and they lived in Clay County, Tx. I am at a wall and any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I have a web page at:
