I'm looking for info on William CRITTENDEN b. abt 1816 KY, married Mary CURRY 19 Feb 1840 Ripley Co, MO. They had the following children: Francis "Frank", Eliza, Thomas, Elizabeth, Nancy, Susannah and Charles.
William and Mary are listed on the 1840 Ripley Co, MO census and the 1850 Shannon Co, MO census, with their 7 children in 1850. William appears on the 1860 Randolph Co, IL census with 4 of their children - apparently Mary has died. In 1870 he is found still in Randolph Co, IL living with his son Francis. William married again 25 Aug 1870 to (Mrs.) Ellen McDonald in Randolph Co, IL.
Does anyone know who William CRITTENDEN's parents and siblings were? Possible brothers may be Edmund W. b. abt 1820 KY and Richard A. (married Caroline Lybarger 1844 Randolph Co, IL) ????????
I have info on descendants and would be glad to share.
