Joe,
Thank you for your message of Jan. 18. It was not passed on to me, and I only just looked back at the Crittenden Forum. Maybe you can help me further. The connection I am exploring is with my Dickinsons. I have been told my Elizabeth Dickinson (b. ca. 1720)was either a Coleman, Mansfield or Crittenden. I thought she fit in as a dau. of Edward Coleman Jr. and this line connects to Hutchinsons and leads to the Chapman Coleman you mention.

However, the Dickinson researcher for our line is convinced she was a Crittenden. He believes she was a dau. of Henry Crittenden whose will in Essex Co., VA names a dau. Elizabeth. She then would have had a brother William Crittenden and apparently there was a land transaction between the Dickinsons and him. Henry was m. 1) to Frances ? and 2) to a dau. of Henry Tandy?? I got this data over the phone, so I only got bits and pieces and, I hope I got it down straight. I should have it straight when his book comes out this fall. Does any of this mean anything to you? Or to anyone else reading this message? Thanks, Gail
